Josh Kermisch


Josh Kermisch serves as President of Traditions Behavioral Health reporting directly to our CEO — Founder.  In collaboration with the executive team and key physician leaders he will provide leadership and direction that sets strategy, ensuring physician and client success while growing the organization.   Josh will work closely with our physician leaders and operational team to build quality systems that create value for our partners while supporting improvements in psychiatric care, patient access and outcomes.

Josh is passionate about working with physicians to improve community based healthcare.  He has extensive experience building best in class healthcare organizations across a broad range of inpatient and outpatient specialties.   Prior to joining Traditions Behavioral Health, Josh worked with and led physicians in critical care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, oncology and radiology.  Most recently, Josh worked for Sound Physicians as Regional President of Operations where he focused on leading a team of more than 600 physicians, nurses and operators in delivering high quality inpatient care.  At Sound, Josh participated in building innovative systems to support value based care which resulted in substantial cost savings for Medicare.

Before Sound Physicians, Josh worked for US Oncology managing cancer centers.  He’s proud to have developed patient centered support programs including patient navigators, integrative care, caregiver support groups and a unique partnership with the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The Ohio State University.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Capital University graduating Magna Cum Laude.
