Contra Costa Regional Medical Center- Crisis Stabilization Unit:

Position available for a psychiatrist providing psychiatric emergency services to adults and children as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Crisis Stabilization Unit receives about twenty new patients per day with a wide range of diagnoses and acuity and serves as a receiving facility for persons placed on 72 hour holds.
Evaluation and treatment is provided around the clock with an emphasis on providing timely intervention that is safe and patient centered.
Thirty eight hours of psychiatry coverage per day is provided delivered four shifts: 7am to 7pm, noon to 11pm, 6pm to Midnight, and 11pm to 8am. As an emergency service, the workload is variable but generally fast paced.  Salary $232,000 per annum plus up to $10,000 in bonuses and a benefit package valued at approximately $66,000.

 

Earn an additional $20,000.00 per year for weekend call once per month.
