Kaweah Delta Health Care District (KDHCD) is a 500-bed public hospital with an exciting new ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program affiliated with the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine (www.kaweahpsych.org). Core Faculty positions include protected academic time and weekday clinical coverage for 12 inpatient beds (Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm). The faculty salary for a 40-hour/week full-time academic position is $220,000 and $10,000 in bonuses along with an employee benefit package valued at $64,000. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible and Fellowship training is desirable.

Retired doctors or others interested in temporary work can make $100,000 in three months working Monday thru Friday, 60 hours per week seeing 17 acute inpatients daily. Recent acute (defined as less than 9 days) inpatient experience required & familiarity and comfort with documentation requirements - considered a must.
